Licensed General Carpenter

BPE Development Inc. is looking for full time motivated, hard working, licensed general carpenters.

The job sites range from residential renovations to new builds of manufacturing facilities.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years construction experience from footings to roofing and everything between for low to mid rise buildings. Residential and commercial buildings
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements
Ability to solve arithmetic problems quickly and accurately
Ability to prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, provided plans and on the fly to suit changing job conditions
Ability to operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment
Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time
Manual dexterity, balance for working on scaffolding
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Get along well with others and client service interaction skills
Access to reliable transportation to and from job site
G class licence or equivalent with clear abstract
Fall arrest, working at heights, elevated platform tickets or willing to get within 1 month of starting
